Outpatient Physiotherapy Services at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust are seeking a dynamic and experienced physiotherapist to join our Women’s Health Physiotherapy Service.
The post-holder will be an integral part of the Women’s Health Physiotherapy Service with a mixed obstetric and urogynaecology caseload. This includes working alongside the MDT and supporting the Band 7 in service development.
Building relationships with other services involved in the care of patients with pelvic health issues is essential.
We seek a motivated and innovative individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
We would also consider a Band 5 developmental role for the right candidate. You will be provided with a tailored development plan, regular supervision, and access to relevant training to support your growth. Upon meeting the required competencies and objectives, you will progress to a Band 6 role.
Candidates must have previous NHS physiotherapy experience, either as an undergraduate or postgraduate, to be eligible to apply.

Responsibilities include:
1. Acting as a specialist clinician for the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Service, supporting the clinical lead with best practice development.
2. Managing own specialist caseload in this area.
3. Working autonomously within Trust policies, maintaining accurate records.
4. Carrying out specialist assessments and treatments in outpatient settings, contributing to MDT aims.
5. Developing and delivering individualised treatment programmes and providing specialist advice, liaising with other agencies as needed.
6. Providing education and delivering classes to patients as part of the Perinatal Pelvic Health Service.
7. Delivering classes for routine pelvic health and pre-op patients.
8. Participating in the education and training of physiotherapists and other healthcare staff.
9. Supporting the Clinical Leads/Team Leader in the day-to-day running of the Pelvic Health team.
10. Supporting and advising the wider MDT on service delivery.
