Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust Pharmacy Administrative Support Officer The closing date is 04 July 2025

Join our Pharmacy Procurement Team at Sheffield Children's! We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable individual to support the ordering and supply of medications, assist with invoice processing, and provide general administrative support to help keep our pharmacy services running smoothly.
About You:
GCSE English Language and Mathematics (grade C/4 or equivalent)
Proficient in Word and Excel
Experience with general office responsibilities
Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Main duties of the job Reporting into the Senior Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Help with ordering of pharmaceuticals, ensuring authorisation and coordination with suppliers.
Monitor and resolve issues with orders, including delays, missing items, and off-contract claims.
Raise and process pharmacy-related invoices, and communicate with suppliers and other teams to resolve invoice queries.
Provide general administrative support, including document filing, data entry, archiving, and report preparation.
Support the Homecare service by assisting with prescription processing, invoicing, auditing, and compliance with national guidelines.
Communicate with suppliers, departments, and staff, maintaining accurate records and following up on outstanding matters.

Please note that Sheffield Children's uplift pay to meet the Real Living Wage, which is £12.60 per hour.

Person Specification Qualifications and Training GCSE English Language - grade C / grade 4 or above.
GCSE Mathematics - grade C / grade 4 or above
RSA II/NVQ2 or equivalent experience
An understanding of the CMM (JAC) pharmacy computer system.
Experience Experience of general office duties.
Proficient in the use of Word and Excel.
Stores work
Working in a busy office with an understanding of finance operations.
Pharmacy experience/knowledge
Knowledge & Skills Good communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to achieve deadlines
An understanding of how Pharmacy works within the NHS environment
An understanding of Homecare services and how to work with them
Personal Attributes Ability to work using own initiative
Effective team worker
