Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Lichfield, Staffordshire
Salary: £51,000 + excellent benefits
Shifts: Panama pattern – 12-hour shifts (days & nights, 4 on / 5 off, 5 on / 5 off, 4 on / 4 off)
Team: Work within a structured engineering team (3 per shift)
We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a leading food manufacturing site in Staffordshire. This role is ideal for engineers with strong fault-finding skills and experience in a fast-paced production environment.
The Role:
Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) (approx. 90% of workload).
Attend and resolve breakdowns quickly and effectively.
Perform factory start-ups, testing, and technical repairs.
Support continuous improvement projects as the site continues to expand.
Work safely across high-pressure systems including steam, refrigeration, and compressed air.
Collaborate with your team to maintain high levels of uptime and reliability.
What We’re Looking For:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering (apprentice trained preferred).
Electrically biased, but confident with both electrical & mechanical systems.
Experience within food/FMCG manufacturing desirable (transferable industries considered).
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
A proactive, hands-on mindset and team-focused approach.
