What you will do
* Supervise foster carers, ensuring all aspects of the role are discussed, documented, and addressed as necessary.
* Manage a case load of foster carers, ensuring tasks align with the role of a Supervising Social Worker.
* Implement a strong understanding of Fostering regulations and National Minimum Standards, maintaining compliance to support foster parents.
* Facilitate communications with foster carers using trauma-informed understanding and therapeutic principles.
* Participate actively in team meetings, supporting your colleagues and contributing to a collaborative environment.
* Be involved in the duty rota to support foster carers, completing viability assessments when required, twice per month.
* Efficiently document fostering annual reviews and present to panels as needed.
