Role & Responsibilities
* Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimising downtime and improving long term machine reliability
* Execution of the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer's plan to work preventatively in addition to reactively
* Use of appropriate root cause analysis tools & 5S
* Actively support a culture of Continuous Improvement, looking at ways to engineer out persistent problems
* Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance
* Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Formal Engineering Qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained
* 18th Edition
* Continuous improvement knowledge
* Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
* Experience in Engineering, manufacturing or production environments
