Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) - EDT WorkerLocation: EnfieldRate: £37.99 per hour (EDT sessional AMHP between 1:00am - 9:00am)
Randstad is recruiting on behalf of Enfield Council for an Approved Mental Health Professional to join their Emergency Duty Team (EDT) on a sessional basis.
This role is ideal for an experienced AMHP who can work autonomously during out-of-hours shifts, delivering statutory mental health duties and safeguarding interventions.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake Mental Health Act assessments during out-of-hours periods.
* Respond to urgent and emergency referrals, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
* Make critical decisions in complex and high-pressure situations.
* Liaise with police, health professionals, and other agencies to coordinate care and interventions.
* Maintain accurate and timely records of all work undertaken.
Requirements
* Qualified Approved Mental Health Professional with current approval status.
* Current Social Work England Registration .
* Strong working knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Care Act, and related legislation.
* Ability to work independently during unsocial hours and manage high-pressure situations.
