Sefton Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Justice Case Manager to join our Qualified Social Work team. This vital role involves working closely with young individuals who have been involved in the youth justice system, providing them with the support and guidance they need to reintegrate into society successfully. You will play a key role in assessing needs, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders to promote positive outcomes for our youth.
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting comprehensive assessments of young people and their families to identify needs and risks.
* Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans that address the unique circumstances of each case.
* Working collaboratively with schools, community organizations, and law enforcement to ensure a cohesive approach to youth rehabilitation.
* Monitoring and reviewing progress, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve the best outcomes.
* Providing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate the challenges associated with youth justice involvement.
Qualifications and Skills
* A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW).
* Registered with Social Work England.
* Experience in youth justice or related fields, demonstrating a strong understanding of the challenges faced by young people.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with young people and their families.
* Strong analytical skills to assess situations and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
