We are currently recruiting on behalf of a client providing both childrens residential care and supported accommodation services across Southampton.
Their childrens homes support young people aged 1115, while their supported accommodation services work with 1618-year-olds preparing for independence.
About the Role
As a Childrens Residential Support Worker, you will act as a positive role model and parental figure, supporting young people with their daily routines, emotional wellbeing and personal development.
You will be working within small, supportive teams to help create a safe, nurturing and structured environment.
Shifts & Hours-
* Long day: 9:00am 11:00pm + sleep-in
* Morning: 7:00am 9:30am (next day)
* 3-week rolling rota:
o Week 1: 2 shifts
o Week 2: 2 shifts
o Week 3: 3 shifts
* Total: 115.5 hours every 3 weeks

Requirements-
* Aged 21 or over
* Full manual UK driving licence
* Minimum 6 months experience in residential childcare
* Comfortable completing sleep-in shifts
