Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Vehicle Architecture Lead Engineerto join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position until 31st March 2026.
Umbrella Pay Rate: £33.64 per hour.
The position is responsible for the engineering integration process for vehicle architectures.
Responsibilities include:
* Design and develop the vehicle technical specifications and attributes across vehicle architectures.
* Lead and resolve complex multifunctional engineering problems.
* Be able to balance competing attributes and requirements to define the optimum engineering solution.
* Analysis of current and future technologies and competitor products to ensure the future competitiveness of our client’s products by influencing client’s strategies, coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals.
* Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
* Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and Cross-functional Vehicle Systems.
* Enthusiasm for vehicles and their development.
* Strong communication skills and ability to interpret technical information.
* Good IT literacy eg. ability to create and manage presentations and spreadsheets.
* Full UK driving licence.

* Previous experience of leading technical issue resolution.
Education Required:
* Relevant engineering degree or other technical degree.
