The Job
The Compliance Senior Analyst (CRA, NIS2, EU Data, AI) role is critical to shaping and standing-up AVEVA’s 2nd Line of Defence Security Governance, Risk and Compliance capabilities and services. This role will be responsible for providing insightful regulatory and wider obligation-aligned knowledge and actionable recommendations to achieve AVEVA’s target operating model for Security GRC and increase the maturity of existing processes and systems.
The post holder will be expected to quickly integrate into the team, proactively engage with stakeholders from technical SME’s to business leadership. They will need to work independently and able to prioritise their time across multiple projects and engagements.
Key responsibilities
1. Build and maintain a regulatory and wider inventory of obligations mapped to the Security Policy Risk and Control framework.
2. Provide subject matter expert knowledge, thought leadership, and advice on the implications of regulatory and wider obligations.
3. Determine how best to cost-effectively satisfy regulatory and wider obligations.
4. Enhance the Security Policy Risk and Control framework to reflect regulatory and wider obligations.
5. Enhance Security GRC assessment and assurance programme to reflect regulatory and wider obligations.
6. Build and maintain consumable and actionable metrics for senior and executive management reporting.
7. Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders to embed security risk practices into operational activities.
Essential requirements
8. GovernanceSignificant experience in developing and operationalising workflow supporting accountable delivery of GRC and wider CISO-aligned services.
9. RiskHands on experience of systematically identifying, consistently evaluating, and defensibly treating risk; ideally via data driven techniques.
10. CompliancePreferable 5+ years relevant experience in a regulated environment assimilating and delivering to fresh and emerging regulatory obligations, especially CRA and NIS2 but also EU Data and AI acts.
