Part time (18.5 hours, Monday - Friday) You will be required to work on a rota basis to cover 7 days a week
All applicants should apply directly through the Regenda Website. As a part time Housing Support Worker, you will provide support to service users at our projects. You will need to be able to work sympathetically with service users who have been homeless and have complex needs.
You will work to empower service users, actively engaging them with the community and helping them to support each other, to develop resilience, to live independently and to be an asset to the community.
You will have demonstrable support worker experience, working with service users who have been homeless and/or have complex needs including, mental health, substance misuse and domestic abuse etc.
You will be able to assess service user's needs and plan and deliver effective, stimulating and dynamic support.
Experience of delivering support that empowers change.
You're able to manage risk and associated and ensure that procedures are followed, and risk is managed appropriately.
