Are you an experienced Regional Service Manager with a passion for exceptional aftersales delivery? This is an outstanding opportunity to join a market‑leading special‑purpose vehicle organisation as their new Regional Service Manager for the South West region. Based in Bristol, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and aftersales performance across a busy and successful Service Centre.
As the Regional Service Manager, you’ll take ownership of all service and aftersales functions, ensuring that your team delivers the highest technical standards while maintaining a professional and well‑organised depot environment. Key Responsibilities for the Regional Service Manager
* Deliver an exceptional customer experience and respond to customer requirements promptly
* Maximise all Service Centre resources to improve efficiency and aftersales throughput
* Ensure all technicians complete work to the highest mechanical and safety standards
* Oversee accurate and timely completion of all administrative and aftersales documentation
* Maintain excellent depot housekeeping, presentation, and image standards
* Support the Service Centre Controller with daily job prioritisation
* Achieve monthly objectives across service and aftersales performance
* Monitor overheads and ensure budgets are adhered to
* Drive increased profitability within the Service Centre
* Continually improve technician efficiency, utilisation, and productivity
* Provide technical support on complex or challenging jobs
* Manage parts stock levels within both the depot and engineers’ vans
* Achieve the highest possible ‘Fixed First Visit’ rate
* Approve holidays and support workforce planning
* Identify technician training needs and support ongoing development
* Conduct annual and probationary performance reviews
* Carry out regular customer visits to maintain strong relationships
* Oversee contract management and aftersales service delivery
Regional Service Manager – Experience & Skills Required
* Previous experience within a Service Manager or aftersales management role
* Confident and effective in customer‑facing situations
* Background in special‑purpose vehicles, plant, manual handling, or HGV
* Strong communicator and natural team leader
* SAP experience desirable
* Proven management experience within service or aftersales operations
* Full clean UK driving licence
