Marketing and Communications Officer (Part-Time)
The Magdalene Group is a well-respected, award-winning, innovative women and girls organisation, established in 1994, providing trauma- and gender-informed services with the violence against women and girls (VAWG) agenda at the heart of all that we do.
We are seeking a creative communicator for a new role of Marketing and Communications Officer to grow our profile and amplify the voices of the women we serve and the projects we deliver.
Last year we celebrated our 30th anniversary with several successful events and to build upon this platform we are seeking a dynamic person to further develop our profile, support the charity’s overall strategic goals and take responsibility for expressing our organisational culture and values through our marketing and communications strategy.
You'll lead on content creation, social media, digital strategy and campaigns, shaping how we tell our story and engage the public.
This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact within a small, dedicated team.
What you'll bring:
Experience in marketing and comms.
A strong understanding of digital platforms and content planning.
A passion for trauma-informed work in the Violence against women and girls (VAWG) arena.
A commitment to our organisational values.
Great writing, creative design and organisational skills

22.5 hours/week
£28,000–£30,500 fte
27 days annual leave fte plus bank holidays fte
