Secondary schools across Northampton are seeking motivated and organised Curriculum Support Officers to join them from ASAP or February 2026. This role is ideal for graduates and individuals with experience working with young people or within administrative and support roles—such as teaching assistants, cover supervisors, learning mentors, youth workers, or school administrators—who are keen to build a career within education.
This position offers a blend of classroom-based support and curriculum-focused responsibilities, giving you exposure to teaching and learning while working closely with qualified teachers and pastoral staff.
The Role
* Support the delivery of lessons across KS3 and KS4 under the direction of teaching staff
* Work with students to support engagement, understanding, and progress
* Assist with the preparation of lesson materials and curriculum resources
* Provide in-class support and small group intervention where required
* Help maintain accurate curriculum, attendance, and assessment records
* Work collaboratively with teachers, departments, and pastoral teams
