Role and Responsibilities
At a glance, your role is to work as part of a team to prepare and cook food and help keep the kitchen running smoothly, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and customer service. Our pubs open early and close late, offering flexible shift patterns including mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.
* Prepare, cook and present food to the correct specification
* Operate kitchen work stations, including grills, fryers, microwaves and more
* Work as a team to meet time and quality targets
* Follow food hygiene and allergen, health and safety standards
* Clean as you go, including full kitchen clean-downs
* Rotate stock and store food safely
* Complete required induction, role-specific and ongoing refresher training and contribute to continuous improvement
