Position: Sub Agent / Senior Engineer (RAMS & ITPs Expertise) Location: Suffolk (UK) Role Purpose As Sub Agent / Senior Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that all the construction activities are underpinned by robust risk assessments (RAMS), inspection & test plans (ITPs), and comprehensive paperwork/documentation. You will work across the site and supporting marine operations, liaising with contractors and internal teams to ensure execution meets the highest safety, quality and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Develop, review and approve Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) for offshore/marine tasks and heavy civil works. Draft, manage and monitor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for scope delivery, commissioning, marine interface, structural works. Ensure all documentation, checklists, QA/QC records and sign‑offs are maintained and audited. Coordinate with contractors, sub‑contractors, site teams and marine logistics to align methodology, schedule and compliance. Conduct site/ marine inspections, monitor task execution against RAMS/ITPs, raise non‑conformances and ensure closure. Act as technical point of contact, liaising with HSEQ, quality, engineering and project teams. Provide leadership, mentoring and support to engineer/technician team members in the execution of their responsibilities. Essential Criteria Proven experience (ideally 5 years) as a Sub Agent, Senior Engineer or similar role in heavy civil / marine / offshore construction environments. Demonstrable experience developing and managing RAMS and ITPs for offshore/marine or major infrastructure projects. Strong documentation control skills: producing, reviewing, auditing paperwork, QA/QC records, and site execution documentation. Excellent understanding of offshore/marine safety, lifting & logistics, and interface management. Strong leadership and communication skills — able to liaise across multi‑discipline teams and contractors. Local to Suffolk Eligible to live and work in the UK
