Lawyer – private client disputes

We are working with a top-tier London law firm who are looking for a Lawyer to join their Private Client Disputes team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a specialist Contentious Trusts and Probate team advising high-net-worth individuals, family offices, trustees, fiduciaries and beneficiaries on complex private wealth disputes. The role involves managing a broad range of contentious trust and estate matters, including will validity challenges, inheritance claims, breach of trust and fiduciary duty disputes, and applications relating to the removal and replacement of executors and trustees.

The position also includes advising on high-value and often cross-border succession disputes and offshore trust litigation, from pre-action strategy and mediation through to High Court proceedings. Key responsibilities include managing caseloads, drafting pleadings and witness statements, liaising directly with clients and intermediaries, preparing for hearings and mediations, and contributing to business development and thought leadership initiatives within the private client practice.

Essential Criteria:

• 3-6 years’ PQE;
• Strong private client disputes background;
• Excellent academics;
• Strong team player;
• Commercial awareness;
• Enthusiastic;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Technically excellent.
