Role Overview
We are currently soliciting lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels as part of the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. The delivery model requires flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Lecturer, you will deliver management‑related modules, develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, undertake all learning, teaching and assessment duties, and stay current with latest developments in the field and student support practices.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess student work to meet learning outcomes
* Develop, update, and improve course materials
* Employ a variety of teaching methods and materials
* Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings, and administrative duties
* Stay updated on developments in your field and student support practices
* Work towards defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction, and progression
About You
* Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject (PhD desirable)
* Have UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area
* Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the subject matter
* Experience supervising student work, providing support and feedback
* Accurate reporting and organization of student records
* Work under pressure, plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills
* Ability to work with diverse groups of people
Desirable
* Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commitment to enrol in a teaching programme within three years, or HEA Fellowship or international equivalent
* Experience designing/developing academic or professional education programmes
