What we are looking for:
* An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or demonstrable experience in End-of-Life Care
* Current valid driving licence allowing you to drive in the UK; use of a car insured for business use is essential
* Relevant experience in Palliative Care is desirable
* Emotional strength and ability to work independently are crucial, though ongoing training and support will be provided
* Ability to work night shifts is essential
* Access to a computer and internet to meet mandatory training requirements
With experience in End of Life care, you're prepared to make a real difference. Our approach is one-to-one, allowing for meaningful contact with patients and families, typically in their homes. Duties include assisting with hygiene, monitoring symptoms, medication support, and detailed record-keeping. Basic understanding of symptom control is essential.
Our night services run from 10pm to 7am, providing one-to-one care to support patients with palliative diagnoses in their own homes.
