Our #TeamStrathclyde is seeking a female* Support Practitioner to join us part-time (24 hours per week).
The Role
You will be part of a dedicated team supporting individuals to live as independently as possible in their own homes. As a Support Practitioner, you’ll assist with daily activities such as cooking, housework, shopping, and medication management. Your support will help them achieve their goals and participate actively in their community, including volunteering.
About You

We will provide training and all the practical skills needed to develop your career in the Health & Social Care sector. We also offer funding for your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and cover yearly SSSC registration fees.
What We Need From You

* A positive attitude towards learning
* An understanding of routines and guidelines
* Confidence in using computers
Having a full UK manual driving licence is beneficial but not essential.
Shift Patterns
We provide tailored support, with shifts including weekdays and weekends, varying from 9am to 7.30pm on a rolling rota. We aim to fill these vacancies quickly and may close the application early if suitable candidates are found. Please apply early to avoid missing out.
Additional Information
Successful candidates will need to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and work towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare, supported by our Training Academy.
Note: If you have spent more than 12 months outside the UK (excluding France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, or Spain) within the last 10 years after turning 18, you will need to provide a criminal record certificate as part of pre-employment checks.
