EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
Essential criteria
10. RSA I / II or equivalent typing/ keyboard qualification
11. Level 3 GCSE’s ( grade C or above or equivalent to include English)
EXPERIENCE
Essential criteria
12. Able to accept and undertake responsibility for designated tasks
13. Secretarial/ reception experience and dealing with face to face patients or customers
14. 6 months experience within a customer care (face to face) environment.
Desirable criteria
15. Experience using word
16. Experience using Careflow system
SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE
Essential criteria
17. Clear, concise verbal and written communication to ensure liaison with multi disciplinary team, patients and carers to ensure records and reports are accurate, legal and in legible manner (in English)
18. Demonstrate good organisational skills
19. Demonstrate insight into the importance of maintaining a safe working environment
20. Ability to learn / ability to self initiate learning (evidence within the last 2 years)
21. Able to work within a team setting
22. Evidence of self motivation and initiative
23. Able to know own limitations and seek advice
24. Flexible and adaptable in approach to work
25. Able to undertake manual handling tasks

26. Able to maintain written communications / records

PPE requirements: Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust requires all colleagues to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with our infection prevention and control procedures.
COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations remain the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course our patients from the viruses when working in our healthcare settings. We encourage our staff to be vaccinated when recommended.
