A respected and well-established insurance provider is seeking a friendly and proactive Customer Service Advisor to join their expanding team in Abingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for helping people to step into a role that combines exceptional customer service with small elements of sales. You’ll be supported with full training, ongoing development, and clear opportunities to progress within a growing insurance business.
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing outstanding customer service to new and existing clients, ensuring every interaction is positive and professional
* Listening carefully to customers’ needs and recommending suitable insurance options
* Managing policy enquiries, renewals, and adjustments with accuracy and efficiency
* Building lasting relationships that encourage customer loyalty and trust
* Spotting opportunities for cross-sales and renewals — always in a helpful, consultative way
* Working collaboratively with your team to meet shared service and performance goals
Who we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in customer service or salesc, ideally within insurance or financial services
* A confident, empathetic communicator who enjoys helping people
* Organised and proactive, with excellent attention to detail
* Positive, motivated, and eager to learn new skills
* Commercially aware with the ability to identify when a customer may benefit from additional services
