About The Role (External)
What will you be doing?
* Maintain and update reference data for a set of Network Applications to preserve and promote their accuracy, completeness and integrity.
* Manage the creation, transfer and validation of data to and between Network Rail and external systems
* Assist with the implementation of systems development by conducting user acceptance testing
* Assist The Systems Support Analyst in the provision of business support.
* Manage the Service Now call system on behalf of the team, allocating calls to the appropriate team member.
* Monitor performance and availability of a set of Network Rail applications on behalf of business users
* Provide system administration with regard to access, security, and reporting.
* Assist in the identification and implementation of quality and efficiency improvement/change initiatives.
* Undertake the role in a way that is consistent with and reinforces Network Rail's values and behaviours.
The ideal candidate
Who we are looking for?
Essential
* Strong experience of working in a business support environment.
* Good analytical skills in a technical or systems related environment.
* Educated to A level standard or equivalent.
* High level of computer literacy including ability to query and manipulate data.
Desirable
* Knowledge and understanding of Network Rail applications.
