HGV Class 1 Driver – Avonmouth, BristolPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Avonmouth, Bristol .This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression. This role would suit applicants who have worked in a similar role such as a Class 1 Driver, HGV Driver, or Category CE Driver .Shifts:• Four shifts over seven days• 12-hour shifts• PM start times between 17:00 – 18:00• Rolling 3-week rotaRates of Pay:• £18.60 - £39.96 per hourBenefits:As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive:• Excellent hourly rates• Ongoing work• Weekly pay• Site canteen• Training provided• Immediate starts available• Employee well-being programmeDay-to-Day Duties:As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):• Class 1 multi-drop deliveries• Operating Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently• Carrying out pre and post journey vehicle inspections• Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly and assisting with loading and unloading when required• Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations• Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements• Maintaining a good understanding of Health and Safety legislation, Food Safety standards, and UK road networksEssential Skills:To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:• A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence• A minimum of twelve months' experience driving Category CE vehicles• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes)• A valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card• Good spoken and written English• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping• A strong understanding of UK road traffic laws• Effective communication skillsDesirable Experience:• Previous experience driving commercialTraining:• Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughoutApply:If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 1 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contacting our recruitment team for more information.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment processTPBN1_UKTJ
