At Allpack, our Account Managers play a critical role in driving sustainable revenue growth by retaining and developing our existing customer base. This role is all about deepening relationships, increasing product penetration, and ensuring our customers receive a truly world‑class service.
You’ll own an established portfolio of accounts within your territory, spending the majority of your time out on the road meeting customers face‑to‑face, carrying out account reviews and identifying opportunities to grow spend across our full product range.
Your success will be measured through customer retention, increased spend, and product mix within your territory:
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing and growing an existing portfolio of customer accounts within your territory
* Building strong, trusted relationships with key decision‑makers
* Conducting regular account reviews and face‑to‑face customer visits
* Identifying opportunities to increase product range and spend within existing accounts
* Proactively generating opportunities through outbound calls and on‑site visits
* Planning and managing your own diary, appointments and customer preparation (samples, presentations and reports)
* Producing sales reports and maintaining accurate account administration
* Managing pricing, gross profit and applying necessary price increases
* Supporting tenders and price reviews when existing clients go to market
* Resolving customer issues proactively, including stock queries, slow‑moving stock and lost business
* Working closely with your Packaging Consultant, Executive Sales Assistant and Inventory teams
* Attending regular territory meetings to drive accountability, focus and result
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience in account management or field‑based sales, ideally within a B2B environment
* Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
* Comfortable managing a territory and spending significant time customer‑facing
* Commercially focused, with a track record of growing existing accounts
* Highly organised, self‑motivated and able to manage your own workload
* Confident handling pricing, tenders and customer negotiations
* A professional and customer‑focused approach at all times
