Responsibilities
* Be responsible for management of commercial activities on site
* Ensure the timely submission of EWNs, CEs and other notifications under the Contract
* Establish and maintain registers for contractual notifications
* Prepare quotations for CEs once agreed in principle
* Support the planners with preparing contractual programmes
* Support/manage Applications for Payment
* Support the drafting and negotiation of subcontracts
* Contract administration of subcontractors and suppliers
* Supervise junior team members and support their continuous development
* Supports Bilfinger's financial timetable and internal and client reporting requirements
* Undertakes forecasting, CVRs and other project reporting requirements
* Optimises profitability evidenced by improvements in margins of projects against budget
* Minimise company’s liabilities by providing support and advice to site team in respect of contractual obligations, notices and remedies
* Supports valuation, application and invoicing process and the review and certification processes of subcontractor accounts
Experience
* Previous experience in post-grad QS role – 8 years +
* Experience of industrial services sector
* Knowledge of best practice
* Evidence of risk and change management
Qualifications
* Essential: Minimum HNC or equivalent in engineering, quantity surveying or similar
* Desirable: Professional / post graduate commercial, business or management qualification. Membership of appropriate professional body
