The Duties:
* Lead the development, optimisation, and support of advanced manufacturing processes
* Drive continuous improvement across both new product introductions and existing production lines
* Implement in-process controls to reduce variation and improve consistency
* Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action planning
* Identify and prioritise cost-saving opportunities
* Propose, risk-assess, implement, and validate process changes
* Support the introduction of new equipment and technologies
The Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline
* Proven experience in wafer-level processing, MEMS, or microfabrication technologies
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing process development, SPC, and cleanroom environments
* Skilled in failure analysis, FMEA, and statistical tools for defect reduction
* Familiarity with metrology tools (e.g. SEM, optical profilometry, microscopy)
* Experience delivering robust processes for both NPI and production
* Ability to work independently, mentor others, and influence cross-functional teams
* Desirable: CAD for tooling design, Python/MATLAB for data analysis, Six Sigma certification, experience in semiconductor or optoelectronic device manufacturing
