Reference 151610 Housing Insights and Performance Manager Birmingham £39980.00 - £41820.00 per annum plus £1680 Car Allowance 37.5 hours per week Closing date 27th March 2026 About the role We are looking for a Housing Insights and Performance Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping how data, insight and performance drive service improvement across our Housing services. Reporting to the Housing Operations Manager (Specialist Housing and Allocations), this role will lead the development and use of high‑quality data, analytics and performance management to support better decision‑making, stronger regulatory compliance and improved outcomes for customers. You will work across Housing, with a particular focus on Voids and Lettings, including Specialist Housing, acting as a trusted partner to senior leaders and operational teams. Through insight, innovation and strong collaboration, you will help embed a culture where data is understood, trusted and actively used to improve services. What you’ll be doing Leading the delivery of data analytics and insight that generate clear, actionable intelligence across Housing, particularly within Voids and Lettings Owning and developing Housing’s data management and analytics capability, ensuring systems, tools and processes are fit for purpose Driving improvements in data quality, data literacy and confidence, working collaboratively across teams and with People & Culture to build capability Designing, implementing and monitoring key performance indicators, benchmarking performance and ensuring KPIs actively drive service and process improvement Chairing the Housing performance monitoring framework, holding senior colleagues to account and ensuring performance is transparent and well governed Providing leadership and assurance on change initiatives, ensuring proposed improvements are data‑informed, aligned to strategy and well‑engaged across services Supporting statutory and regulatory data returns, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance Identifying and championing innovation and continuous improvement, using insight to prioritise activity that delivers the greatest benefit to customers and the organisation Who we’re looking for We’re looking for a confident, analytical and collaborative professional who can translate complex data into meaningful insight and influence change at all levels. You will have: Proven experience of data analysis, insight and performance management within Housing services, with a strong focus on Voids and Lettings A strong track record of using data and analytics to drive service improvement and business change Experience of process review, business analysis and improvement methodologies, applying insight to address performance challenges Sound working knowledge of housing legislation, regulation and best practice, particularly in Housing Management, Voids and Lettings A relevant degree or professional qualification Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and engage a wide range of stakeholders Strong leadership and relationship‑building skills, with the credibility to work autonomously across functions and at senior level Why join us?
