The Role:This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team supporting students who may have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, or who have experienced barriers to mainstream education. You will play a key role in helping pupils re-engage with learning and develop both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assisting the teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
* Managing behaviour positively and effectively
* Building strong, professional relationships with pupils
* Supporting students' emotional wellbeing and personal development
* Contributing to a safe and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils or in a similar setting
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Strong behaviour management skills
* A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
* Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
* Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
