You'll be part of the core nursery team, helping to grow, maintain and prepare a wide range of plants. Every day will be different, and you'll get plenty of opportunities to learn as you go. Day-to-day, you'll be involved in: Potting, watering and general plant care Propagating new plants and maintaining stock quality Monitoring crops for pests and diseases Supporting crop protection programmes Keeping accurate stock control Maintaining nursery facilities, equipment and workspaces Inspecting and preparing plants ready for dispatch Helping keep the nursery safe, tidy and well-organised What do I need? Some horticultural knowledge and experience working with plants Ideally, you'll have your PA1 and PA6, but it's not essential. Enthusiasm - a real drive to learn, grow and be part of a busy nursery team. If you're motivated and keen to develop, full training will be provided. What's next?
