Altico is a fast-growing, family-run supplier of landscaping and garden products to retailers and merchants across the UK. Our range includes decorative aggregates, paving, water features, horticultural products and landscaping materials designed to help customers transform outdoor spaces.
As our product range and marketing activity continues to expand, we are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our marketing team and support the creation and delivery of visual content across packaging, print and digital channels.
Responsibilities
* Helping to create new brand designs, including logos, colour palettes, typography and associated guidelines to support new Category and product range launches alongside the Senior Creative Designer and Marketing Manager
* Prepare and adapt artwork for product packaging, labels and point-of-sale
* Support the creation of brochures, flyers and marketing literature
* Prepare print-ready artwork files for suppliers and printers
* Assist with visual content for product launches and seasonal marketing campaigns
* Quality control – maintain brand personality and design consistency throughout
* Support with image editing and product photography assets
* Work closely with the marketing and product teams to deliver projects on time
Requirements
* Fluency in all relevant areas of the Adobe Creative Cloud software suite
* Qualified at HND or Degree level in a relevant Graphic Design, Artwork or Brand certification
* 2-3 years’ experience in a graphic design role
* Experience in delivering print for retail, particularly in relation to POS and packaging
* Able to demonstrate a strong portfolio of recent graphic design work
* Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in designing graphics/visual content for social media and web, as well as supporting website maintenance, would be hugely beneficial to the role
