Civil Work Superintendent – Decommissioning & CCS Project

Start: Jan/Feb 2026
Contract: Outside IR35, Full-time (up to 5.5 days/week)
Day Rate: £600 per day
A leading global engineering and construction company is seeking an experienced Civil Work Superintendent for its Liverpool Bay Decommissioning & Carbon Capture (CCS) project. You will support the Construction Site Manager and supervise civil works delivered by subcontractors and direct hire teams.
Role Responsibilities
* Promote safe working practices and environmental protection.
* Oversee all civil works to meet project quality, contractual and technical requirements.
* Develop and manage construction schedules, coordinating resources effectively.
* Ensure cost-efficient execution of civil activities and support your supervisors on site.
* Produce progress reports, highlight deviations and propose corrective actions.
* Monitor productivity and interface with the wider project team.
* Support resolution of civil engineering issues during execution.
* Manage technical and administrative documentation.
* Achieve MC certification and punch-list clearance with commissioning.
Requirements
* 15–20 years’ experience in civil works, ideally as site manager, superintendent or similar.
* Relevant technical diploma or equivalent.
* Strong skills in civil supervision, dewatering, piling and team leadership.
