A pioneering global space organisation with over five decades of heritage is expanding its UK operations, specialising in satellite systems, advanced sensors for exploration, and cutting-edge communications technologies. As growth accelerates, we’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to oversee and scale operational infrastructure across the UK.
In this Director of Operations role, you’ll oversee Facilities, IT, Cybersecurity, Procurement, Health & Safety, and Security - driving the transition from low-volume production to a £100m+ high-efficiency manufacturing operation. You’ll ensure operational excellence across cleanrooms, labs, test facilities, and more, while leading cross-functional teams and aligning with corporate strategy.
Director of Operations:
* Previous experience within an Operations Director role
* Strong leadership experience in operations, ideally in high-tech or aerospace sectors
* Proven track record scaling production in a complex, regulated environment
* Expertise in IT systems, procurement, and H&S compliance
* Excellent stakeholder, team management, and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to travel across UK sites
