Join a well established law practice in Crawley as a Legal Secretary in their busy Real Estate department. Day-to-day of the role:
1. Audio and copy typing of correspondence and documents.
2. Managing filing and file systems, including dealing with incoming and outgoing mail.
3. Photocopying, faxing, scanning, and emailing documents.
4. Arranging client meetings and managing time recording for fee earners.
5. Opening and closing case management files, updating contacts and file information in the DPS case management system.
6. Interacting with clients and contacts via telephone, taking messages, and meeting in person to witness signatures or collect documents.
7. Drafting letters, documents, and forms using standard precedents and forms library.
8. Handling replies to enquiries, preparing contracts, deeds, licences, TR1s, Property Forms, etc.
9. Attending clients to arrange for documents to be signed or witnessed and arranging for the provision of physical AML and KYC documentation.
10. Setting up and managing data rooms, acting as central administrator.
