Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities to strict schedules Prepare for maintenance work by coordinating parts, tools, and resources in advance Develop strong working knowledge of bakery process systems and machinery Work as an active member of a skilled, cross-functional planned maintenance team Support installation, modification, and improvement projects on plant and equipment Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene standards at all times Actively contribute to a Continuous Improvement culture, supporting the site Operating Brilliance Process (OBP) Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and reduce waste Assist in the training and development of fellow engineers, operator-technicians, and colleagues Maintain high standards of housekeeping and good engineering practices Ideally this is you! Previous experience in plant or engineering maintenance Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team A thorough, detail-oriented approach to maintenance work Literate and numerate, with basic PC skills Flexible and reliable, with excellent timekeeping and attendance Desirable: Mechanical Engineering qualifications or experience Apprentice trained Machining skills or experience IPAF trained FMCG or food manufacturing experience
