Maintenance MDS Administrator (A400M)
Location: Brize Norton, Oxfordshire (100% on site)
Contract: Until 27 February 2027 – potential to extend
Pay Rate:
* £29.07 per hour (Umbrella)
* £21.74 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 35 hours per week (overtime paid at premium rate)
IR35: Inside IR35
An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance MDS Administrator to support a military aircraft programme at RAF Brize Norton. This role focuses on the accurate management of maintenance and airworthiness data within digital systems and is suited to candidates with strong data administration skills, ideally within an aviation or regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Create component assets and link associated airworthiness data
* Accurately enter, update and maintain maintenance data within digital systems
* Review and verify maintenance records for completeness and accuracy
* Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure timely and correct data entry
* Generate and distribute maintenance and compliance reports
* Support the development and upkeep of digital data entry procedures
* Conduct regular audits of digital records to ensure regulatory compliance
* Manage tasks and activities as delegated by management
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience using data entry software and digital record-keeping systems
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong IT capability and confidence working with digital data systems
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Clear and effective communication skills
Desirable
* Previous experience in aircraft maintenance, aviation, or engineering data environments
* Knowledge of aviation regulations or compliance frameworks
* Experience with data tools such as XML, Microsoft Access or similar systems
* Strong general IT skills and confidence working with large data sets
Security & Eligibility
* BPSS clearance required to start, with SC clearance required to continue
* Ability to work in a security-sensitive UK military environment
* ITAR eligibility required
