Overview
Operations Manager - Stratford Westfield (N103286) at Next. 37.50 hours per week with shifts: Sun 11:30 - 18:30; Mon 09:00 - 17:30; Tue 09:00 - 17:30; Wed 13:00 - 21:30; Fri 13:00 - 21:30. This role supports the Store Manager and oversees stockroom/warehouse, security and office operations. You will lead and inspire your team to maximise sales, drive efficiencies and achieve performance targets.
Responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager in providing leadership and inspiring the team to perform at their best; cover the store when needed
* Foster an environment focused on excellent service, achieving targets and maintaining accurate stock processes in a commercial, efficient, safe environment
* Ensure the store meets all legal and compliance requirements in the areas you are responsible for
* Lead disciplinary and grievance procedures where necessary
* Manage manhour control to ensure store processes are effective and efficient
* Demonstrate a hands-on approach to operational and commercial activities by working alongside the team
* Show resilience during change and use feedback to drive results
* Ensure security staff are used effectively and that all Company security procedures are followed
* Identify training, development and recruitment needs and address them to a high standard
* Other duties as required to support store operations

* You are flexible with working hours, willing to work reasonable additional hours including some public holidays and Sundays as needed
