We're on the lookout for a qualified accountant to join the team in a Group Corporate Accountant position. You’ll be a key part of our year end compliance process, leading on the external audit and preparing the statutory financial statements, as well as getting involve in ad hoc projects and driving control improvements in the internal control environment. Compliance is Key Lead on all aspects of financial reporting for the Group. Preparation of the year end statutory financial statements. Lead on the external audit, bringing in support from the wider finance team and hotel teams as and when required. Manage day to day tax issues and the relationships with external advisors. Investor & Insight Ensure integrity of intercompany balances and liaise with investors to ensure agreement on related party balances. Be the go to for queries relating to the group corporate structure and legacy intercompany transactions Identify opportunities to rationalise corporate structures and intercompany balances. Assist on acquisition accounting and integration of new hotels. The human touch Be a true Atlas role model – living our values and spreading the mission. Review and evolve internal financial controls, working alongside Hotel Financial Controls Manager and the wider finance team, to find improvements that last. Provide assistance to the Head of Finance and wider team. Communications Champion Work with the Head of Finance on developing in-month financial monitor tools. Support the transactional finance team as needed, keeping conversations clear, collaborative and helpful. Manage you own working day, keeping key stakeholders well-informed of progress and issues.
