Youth Mental Health Support (Reading)
A friendly school in Reading is looking to add a Youth Mental Health Support assistant to their team starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
* Support the students with their needs in the classroom
* Help them find healthy and positive ways to cope with their emotions
* Teach them ways to regulate their emotions
* Help them reach their academic and personal goals
* De‑escalate any behaviour and redirect their attention
* Facilitate and help deliver any interventions designed to help the students flourish
* Support the students during their work day
Qualifications
* Has a positive attitude
* Kind and enthusiastic to make a difference
* Passionate about helping
* Takes initiative and is proactive
* Understands the importance of safeguarding
* Patient
* Background in psychology, education, sports, art or drama, or similar

* Start date: ASAP
* Pay: £90–£110 per day
* Working hours: Full‑time or part‑time options
* Age group: 11‑18 years old
