Job Overview
We are seeking to appoint a 0.9 Hairdressing Lecturer to teach a range of theory and practical skills within the hairdressing sector, covering all skill sets on Level 1, 2 and 3 qualifications. The role includes delivering interactive teaching, learning and assessment activities, supporting the running of a professional salon/learning environment and carrying out administrative processes such as preparation of work, marking and assessment documentation.
Responsibilities
* Teach Level 1, 2 and 3 hairdressing theory and practical skills.
* Deliver interactive and engaging lessons and assessment activities.
* Support the operation of a professional salon environment for learning.
* Prepare work, mark, and maintain assessment documentation.
* Contribute to the college’s growing hairdressing provision and support student learning.
Qualifications
* Recognised teaching qualification at L5 or above, or willingness to pursue such qualification.
* Relevant experience working in the beauty sector.
* Strong awareness of current developments in hairdressing and ability to inspire learners.
