About the role

We're recruiting an Operations Administrator list to join Sulzer Pumps Wastewater UK — supporting the team that keeps critical water and wastewater operations moving. This role sits at the centre of our day‑to‑day activity, helping coordinate people, processes and logistics so we can deliver the reliable pumping, service and aftermarket support our customers depend on.

Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the operations team, including data entry, document management, and report generation.

* Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for operations personnel.

* Assist with inventory management tasks, including tracking stock levels, processing orders, and liaising with suppliers.

* Support the preparation of operational documentation, such as work instructions, health and safety records, and quality control reports.

* Handle incoming inquiries and communications, directing them to the appropriate department or individual.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within internal systems and databases.

* Assist in the procurement process, including raising purchase orders and tracking deliveries.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in an administrative or operational support role, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.

* Experience with ERP or CRM systems is an advantage.

* A basic understanding of health and safety procedures is desirable.
