Turner Lovell is recruiting a Technical Manager for a leading energy infrastructure contractor operating across the UK renewable and transmission markets.
This role sits within a growing renewable connections team responsible for the design and delivery of major grid connection projects spanning 33kV to 400kV. Projects are delivered both as standalone schemes and under long-term framework agreements within the non-regulated sector.
The role focuses on tendering and bid phases. You will support tender strategy, technical compliance and the development of competitive engineering solutions, while ensuring designs are appropriately managed through the early stages of a project.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead technical input within the bid and tendering team for renewable and transmission tenders, ensuring full compliance with client and industry requirements.
2. Work closely with estimating teams to validate scope, assumptions, risk and cost models.
