Are you a highly skilled Reliability, Maintainability & Safety (RAMS) Engineer looking for a senior technical challenge? We are seeking a Senior RAMS Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and maintainability of advanced electro-mechanical systems used in safety-critical applications.
What You'll Do:
* Lead and approve qualitative and quantitative RAMS assessments during the design phases of complex aerospace and electro-mechanical systems.
* Perform FMECA, hazard assessments, reliability block diagrams, fault tree analysis, and other safety engineering tasks.
* Provide system safety expertise across integrated product teams (IPTs), influencing design for optimal reliability and safety.
* Plan workloads and mentor a small team of RAMS Engineers.
* Support proposals, bids, and customer requirement analysis while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
* Continuously improve internal RAMS processes and support FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System) activities.
What We're Looking For:
* Extensive experience in RAMS engineering within complex electro-mechanical or aerospace systems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to meet customer RAMS requirements.
* Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (2:1 or equivalent).
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status and/or relevant professional membership is desirable.
* Knowledge of MIL-STD, Def-STD, ARP4761, ARP4754, DO178B, and DO254 standards is highly beneficial.
* Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance and explosives regulations compliance.
