The successful candidate will lead a group of approximately 18 employees, plus ad hoc agency staff, ensuring that all operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This hands-on supervisory role is essential to maintaining productivity and ensuring the smooth discharge and loading of vessels. The postholder will promote a safety-first culture, manage day-to-day operations, and coordinate closely with management, customers, and third-party workers. Working Hours: Monday – Friday, rotating weekly shifts (typically 6:00 or 9:00 starts, 9 hours per day). 180 hours per month, rotating shifts (typically 6:00 or 9:00 start, 9-hour days) Availability required on alternate weekends, depending on vessel schedules.
