About The Role
In your role as a Head Chef at HC One, you’ll value one thing above all: kindness. It carries across every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. As a Head Chef, you will manage the kitchen team to cook and serve nutritious, healthy meals that Residents will love. You’ll provide great choices, considering cultural preferences and dietary requirements. Whether managing food stock, optimizing your budget, or liaising with support teams on nutrition standards, Resident wellbeing is your priority.
Requirements include an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate, and understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Your positive energy, organizational skills, recipe adherence, and considerate communication are essential.
