As a Solicitor at D'Agostino Solicitors', you will play a vital role in providing expert legal services to our clients. In this full-time position based in Liverpool NSW 2170, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of legal matters, ranging from conveyancing and property transactions to general legal advice and representation.
What you'll be doing
* Providing comprehensive legal advice and assistance to clients on a wide variety of real estate and property matters including acquisitions, disposals, development projects, option and joint venture arrangements, security and loan documentation, retail and commercial leasing and due diligence processes
* Draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional and ancillary documentation with a high degree of technical accuracy and commercial acumen
* Take carriage of matters from inception through to completion, effectively managing a high-volume and varied file load while ensuring key deadlines are met and client outcomes are achieved
* Conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and negotiating on behalf of clients
* Representing clients in court proceedings
* Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
* Collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional client service
* Continuously developing your legal expertise and staying up-to-date with industry changes
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualification in Law and current practising certificate
* Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Solicitor within property law
* Demonstrated experience across property law matters, including conveyancing, development projects, option and joint venture arrangements, security and loan documentation, retail and commercial leasing and due diligence processes
* Strong knowledge of relevant property and real estate legislation, regulations, and best practices
* Proficient in electronic conveyancing, including preparing and completing settlements through PEXA, and experienced in the use of LEAP for matter management and workflow efficiency
* Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve desired outcomes
* Dedication to providing exceptional client service and building lasting relationships
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
* Guide and mentor junior lawyers
* Manage priorities and workflow
