The service aligns to the All Wales Weight Management Pathway at Level 2 and will offer evidence‑based opportunities for adults in North Wales who wish to lose weight to improve their health.

Main Duties

The Specialist Dietitian will support the Lead Dietitians in the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice in relation to the Level 2 Service across the Health Board, working as an integral member of and in partnership with multi‑agency community teams. The service comprises Team Leads and Specialist Dietitians, alongside Dietetic Assistants and admin support, delivering group weight‑management programmes for adults in leisure centres or remotely via videoconference, and also providing one‑to‑one weight‑management clinics. You will remain a key member of the dietetic team, joining an enthusiastic group of dietitians delivering services in acute, primary care and public health, and supporting clinical placements for students.
