Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £35k to £45k
Are you an experienced mechanical maintenance engineer within the facilities sector? Seeking a new challenge in 2025? My client is an established FM company looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a team on a site close to Swindon.
This is a great role for someone looking to join a company offering lots of progression and training. The position is permanent, working Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm. Benefits include:

Main Duties:
1. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports.
2. Carry out Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete the associated paperwork.
3. Be on a call-out rota to provide the client with full out-of-hours cover.
4. Oversee visiting subcontractors regarding work standards and Health and Safety.
5. Assist on other properties within the portfolio as needed.
6. Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
7. Accurately complete all work-related documentation on time.
8. Work safely and diligently, complying with all Health and Safety policies.
9. Daily PPM and Reactive Maintenance tasks, including UPS systems, plumbing, drainage, boiler checks, cooling towers, fan coil units / AHUs / fans, and heating pumps.
The Ideal Candidate:
* City & Guilds / NVQ Mechanical Qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience in a commercial environment
* Experience working within a hospital or R&D environment (desired)
* Good building services knowledge
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Able to pass a DBS check
