Are you a well-established General Manager with experience in premium Café/Restaurant Concepts and New Site Openings?
Our client is a leading dining brand that offers top-notch baked goods, great cocktails, artisan coffee, and delicious tapas. They are currently seeking a General Manager to lead the team in opening their new site in Marylebone and then transition into a multisite role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented General Manager to participate in an exciting new project and grow with a fast-expanding brand.
* At least 3 years of experience at GM level in a similar concept.
* Experience in opening new sites.
* Detail-oriented with a drive for impeccable service.
The role of the Opening General Manager – Café & Tapas Concept:
* Oversee all operations of the Café/Restaurant, ensuring smooth functioning and high-quality service.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to meet business goals and increase profitability.
* Manage and lead staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
* Maintain inventory levels and control costs to optimize profitability while upholding quality standards.
* Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and implement corrective measures as needed.
* Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and staff development.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
* Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors for timely delivery of goods and services.
* Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
* Potential to develop into a multisite role after successful opening.
