Director of Housing and Property Services (Interim)

Contract: Interim - 6 months initially

Sellick Partnership Ltd is working in partnership with a public sector organisation to recruit a Director of Housing and Property Services for an initial six-month assignment based in Bristol.
The Role
This senior leadership role is responsible for delivering high-quality, affordable and energy-efficient homes across the council. The postholder will ensure sound financial and environmental returns from property and glebe assets, including developments and disposals, and provide strategic oversight and expert advice on buildings and land ownership.
The role will lead Housing Property Services to support organisational and community development, ensuring services are compliant, customer-focused and aligned with wider council priorities.
Key Responsibilities of the Director of Housing and Property Services
1. Provide strategic leadership and oversight of property-related services, including property management, development, health and safety, and net zero carbon initiatives.
2. Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of housing property services, including repairs, planned maintenance and upgrades to the council's housing stock.
